<h2>Cell Fusion Induction Methods</h2>
<p>There are three main methods for inducing cell fusion:</p>
<p><strong>Biological Methods (Virus-mediated)</strong>: Viruses such as Sendai virus, parainfluenza virus, and Newcastle disease virus possess fusion proteins that mediate fusion between viruses and host cells, as well as cell-to-cell fusion. Live viruses can be used to induce cell fusion.</p>
<p><strong>Chemical Methods (PEG-mediated)</strong>: Polyethylene glycol (PEG) induces changes in the arrangement of membrane lipid molecules. After removing PEG, the plasma membrane restores its ordered structure, and adjacent cells can fuse during this recovery process.</p>
<p><strong>Physical Methods (Electrical/laser-mediated)</strong>: Electrical excitation or laser treatment disrupts the plasma membrane temporarily, allowing cell fusion when the membrane repairs.</p>
