External defibrillators are essential emergency devices for defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Their principle is to use a strong pulse of electrical current through the heart to eliminate arrhythmia. The semi-automatic external defibrillator can be operated by automatic voice prompts, and can automatically identify the shockable rhythm and select the appropriate shock parameters.
