The cold trap can effectively capture most of the solvent vapor that is harmful to the vacuum pump, providing effective protection for the high vacuum oil pump. The vacuum pump keeps the system under vacuum, lowers the boiling point of the solvent and speeds up the evaporation rate of the solvent.
