1)As a new type of ultrasonic homogenizer, it enjoys complete functions, novel appearance and reliable performance.

2)It has a large-screen display and concentrated control by a central computer.

3)The ultrasonic time and power can be set accordingly. Besides, such functions as sample temperature display, actual

frequency display, computerized tracking and automatic trouble warning can all be displayed in the large LCD screen.

Precautions:

(1) It is strictly forbidden to turn on the ultrasonic probe when it is not inserted into the solution, otherwise it will damage the instrument.

(2) The length of time is selected according to the amount of cell breakage.

(3) The water in the boxed ice water mixture should not exceed the height of the liquid to be broken in the beaker. Otherwise, when the ultrasonic is broken, the beaker will rotate continuously, so that the probe is not in the optimal position of the ultrasound.

(4) The distance between the bottom of the beaker and the probe should not be too close, otherwise the bottom of the beaker will rupture during ultrasonication.

Application

Preparation of Suspensions – A solid drug is dispersed in an aqueous solution containing a surfactant under ultrasonic cavitation and vigorous agitation to form an oral or intravenous suspension of about 1 um. Examples are “intravenous camptothecin suspension”, “liver contrast agent”, “barium sulfate suspension”.
